Maldon Carnival Week promises to be packed with fun for the whole family.
Events kicks off on Sunday, July 27, with the carnival court crowning and the fun-filled activities continue throughout the week, culminating in the carnival procession on Saturday, August 2.
This year’s procession is the 100th procession in the carnival’s history, although the carnival itself is several years older.
The procession lines up in Cross Road, which will be closed to traffic from 11am.
The procession starts at 2.15pm from the junction of Fambridge Road and Cross Road, going up Fambridge Road and down the High Street, finishing at Promenade Park.
A fun fair, along with traditional fete activities and stalls will take place on the recreation ground at the Promenade.
