A LORRY carrying chemicals has crashed on a road in Little Oakley.

Harwich Road will remain closed until this evening in both directions between Seaview Avenue and Bay View Crescent following the crash.

A heavy goods vehicle was involved in the smash near Foulton Hall Road, near Sea View Avenue, just before 5pm.

No chemicals are thought to have leaked.

It is about time these lorries were regulated going through the village. The road was/is not designed to take them or others similar. They are even going through the village at midnight and at weekends.
