"Terrifying" fight in Kingsway

Residents were woken up to the “terrifying” sounds of screaming and fighting in the street.
Police were called to Kingsway, Dovercourt at 2.30am on Saturday February 4 after a fight broke out.
Four police cars rushed to the scene, and Gary Cox, who lives on the road and owns nearby White Coffee House, said it is not an isolated incident.
Estate Agent Kevin Frith, who runs Compass One Stop Property Shop in Kingsway, has also seen trouble caused by drinking in the street.
• A 22-year-old Harwich man has been charged with assaulting a police officer and drunk and disordely behaviour following an incident in Kingsway on Saturday February 4.
