CHILDREN have unveiled a maritime mosaic they have crafted for a Harwich building project.
Mayflower Primary School on Main Road, Dovercourt, has donated a two meter mosaic which will welcome visitors to the Mayflower Project and Harwich Town rail station.
Children from the school added tiles to the plaque in September and it was completed by a small group of volunteer pupils across the school years.
The image features an anchor, bell and the Mayflower ship.
It has been fitted to a wall on George Street, leading to the train station.
It stands in front of a regenerated rail station out-building where the Mayflower ship will be built.
