HUNDREDS of children scoured the paths and hedgerows in a fundraising village Easter egg hunt.
Ramsey War Memorial Hall Charity hosted the event on Good Friday afternoon.
Suzanne Howe, secretary, said: “It was an amazing afternoon and we have had some lovely feedback. We made £750 profit for the charity and a fabulous £270 for CLIC Sargent.
“We were truly overwhelmed by the support of our community and to see so many happy, smiling children filling our park was just amazing.”
The event saw 331 children and their parents turn out.
As well as an Easter egg hunt, there was a raffle, cakes, and even a visit from the Easter bunny.
It was the first fundraising event held since the charity was given planning permission to build a new hall at the recreation ground in Wix Road, Ramsey - the £750 raised will go towards the major project.
