THE change of use of a business unit on a Lawford industrial site has been given the all-clear.

The unit in Commerce Way has been operated for the storage and testing of fibre glass extraction machines.

It was originally given permission to run as an animal feeds and products company with a small retail element in 2011.

James Sadler of the Raymond Partnership applied for the retrospective change of use from Tendring Council and it has been approved.

There have been no alterations to the building and none were proposed as part of the application.
