QUIZ team Bright Sparks fought off stiff competition to win for the second year running at the Tendring Council Chairman’s Charity Quiz.
Over 30 teams took part in the fundraiser staged at the Princes Theatre in Clacton on Friday night.
Adrian Robinson from Clacton Lions once again took on the role of quizmaster for the evening which raised £805.60 for the Chairman’s charities.
Council chairman Jayne Chapman said it was a very entertaining evening and she was grateful to everyone who took part.
“I’d like to thank everyone who came along and supported my two charities; The Swimming Trust and Tendring Specialist Stroke Services.”
“There was some fierce but friendly competition going on, some truly creative team names, and a great time was had by all. Congratulations to Bright Sparks!”
Bright Sparks were presented with the Quiz Shield by Mrs Chapman, along with their prizes.
