A120 closed due to accident
The A120 is partially blocked following a serious traffic accident.
Two passengers were trapped in the car.
Fire crews and the ambulance service arrived on scene to cut the passengers free.
The road is partially blocked on the westbound side after the junction with the A133 in Great Bromley.
A spokesman for Essex County Fire & Rescue said: "Firefighters were called to a single vehicle road traffic collision on the A120 between Frating and Ardleigh.
"Crews worked with the Ambulance Service to release two casualties trapped in their vehicle by 11:41hrs."
