A MAN was left suffering from smoke inhalation after a fire in a groundfloor flat.
Firefighters were called to Pound Farm Drive in Dovercourt shortly before 4pm on Tuesday after the blaze started in the bedroom.
They found the property was heavily smokelogged and used a hose reel jet to dampen the flames within half an hour.
A pressured fan was then deployed to clear the flat of smoke.
The man was left in the care of the ambulance service.
