The Labour Party's Fiona Powell has won the Harwich by-election.
Fiona will represent the West Ward on Harwich Town Council after winning yesterday's election by 88 votes.
A by-election was called after Conservative Stephen Harriss, 44, stood down in September.
Tendring Council has recorded a turnout for the by-election of 20.03per cent.
Fiona Powell, Labour Party, got 438 votes, and Tony Colbourne, UKIP, received 350 votes.
