FAMILIES teed off for free to celebrate the opening of a new leisure and information kiosk on Dovercourt’s seafront.
The facility at the putting greens was officially opened with a special free day giving visitors the chance to take advantage of the putting, crazy golf, croquet and petank.
The kiosk was opened by former Tendring Council officer Sally Looker, who played a key role in bringing the Harwich Town Council project to fruition.
The second phase of the project will see a new public picnic area installed.
New flower beds at the site are being planted and tended by the Harwich Society’s Gardening Group.
