JUST weeks are left to nominate your top sporting stars for a Tendring Sports Award.
The prestigious awards are celebrating their 11th anniversary – with trophies once again up for grabs for individuals, teams, coaches and volunteers.
The deadline for nominations is September 16 and organisers are hoping that there will be a bumper crop of entries this year.
There will be five categories with up to 33 trophies to be handed out on November 3, at the Princes Theatre, Clacton Town Hall.
The Tendring Sports Personality Awards are a partnership between Tendring Council and activetendring, and is supported by the Harwich and Manningtree Standard.
Nomination forms are on the sports development page of the council's website www.tendringdc.gov.uk
All entries must be accompanied by details of the nominee’s successes and achievements over the past year.
All individuals must live in Tendring and all organisations and clubs must be based in the district.
