A COUPLE have spoken of their horror after being caught up in a terrorist attack inwhich 38 people were killed.

Kieren Brown and Sarah Fulton, of Fronks Road, Dovercourt, were staying at the Riu Imperial Marhaba hotel in Tunisia with Sarah’s six-year-old daughter Nicole when gunman Seifeddine Rezgui opened fire on holidaymakers and hotel staff on Friday.

The family were enjoying the first day of their holiday at the pool when they realised something was wrong at about 11.30am.

Sarah said: “We heard a loud cracking sound and everyone looked up because they thought it was fireworks.

“But a few seconds later a man came running round towards the pool shouting that it was gunfire and telling us to run.”
