A FORMER secondary school headteacher has been elected as a public governor for the North Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust.
Nigel Mountford, who took retirement on medical grounds from the Harwich and Dovercourt High School last year, has become public governor for Colchester.
He said: “As a governor, I will fully commit to improving services within the constrained budgets.
“I am passionate about patient care. I will challenge inefficiencies and under-performance, and contribute to the building of a respected mental health service.”
Governors represent their constituencies, raise awareness of mental health and wellbeing, and attend meetings and events.
