To help you before polling day on May 7, we have asked the political parties to explain why you should vote for them at the Tendring Council elections.
Liberal Democrats – Gary Scott
Tendring Liberal Democrats wish to see an improvement in recycling, by taking more plastic and not to send it to land fill.
The Liberal Democrats continue to push for road improvements, improve public transport and better regeneration to attract business and job creation.
The Conservatives have not done enough to help people locally while their friends at Essex County Council have failed people by turning the street lights off at night and closing popular recycling centres like Martins Farm in St Osyth.
The Liberal Democrats believe in giving people the power to improve their communities and take back control of highway repairs from Conservative controlled Essex County Council.
We need more help locally for the young people to bring more apprenticeships to Tendring and give our future generation the chance to progress in their chosen career.
