Comic Relief’s Red Nose Day topped a staggering £1billion this year.
The biannual event sees the UK ‘get funny for money’ at home, school and work.
Celebrities get in on the fundraising too, which this year saw Dermot O’Leary dance for 24 hours, Mr Bean return for a one-off special and comedian Peter Kay host Phoenix Nights at Manchester Arena.
In Harwich and Manningtree, schools and youngsters got into the Red Nose Day spirit, dressing up and holding cake sales to raise money.
All the money from Red Nose Day goes towards helping to change the lives of poor and vulnerable people living in the UK and across Africa.
