YOUNGSTERS got top tips from a restaurant chef during a morning half-term activity event.
The Mayflower Brewers Fayre pub in Parkeston welcomed kids and their mums and dads for a range of activities this week from arts and crafts to dressing up games.
On Tuesday crafty youngsters learned how to decorate biscuits using icing, sprinkles and sweets with help from the chef.
They also took part in a competition to draw and design a chef’s hat.
Gemma Sturgeon, from the Mayflower Brewers Fayre, said the week offered something for everyone.
Other activities included card making sessions for Mother’s Day and a pirate themed morning with hat and sword making, games and musical statues.
