RESIDENTS are being reminded to sign up for a scheme which could save money on household bills.
The free Essex Energy Switch, run by Essex County Council, opens next month.
Kevin Bentley, Essex County Council cabinet member for economic growth, said: “Almost two thousand people from all over Essex have already registered for the Essex Energy Switch but we are ambitious and want thousands more to be able to make savings on their energy bills.”
Last year, more than 4,500 residents registered for the scheme, which could save households more than £200.
The register, go to essex.gov.uk/energyswitch by Monday, February 2.
