A NEW seafront zebra crossing will be completed in time for the summer season.
Work to build the crossing on Lower Marine Parade in Dovercourt will start in the New Year.
In total £35,000 was allocated for the project by the Tendring Local Highways Panel.
The project is expected to be completed by March.
Essex County Councillor for Harwich, Ivan Henderson, said: “It is right outside the cafe so it will make it a lot safer for young people to get backwards and forwards.
“I am really pleased."
