SIBLINGS have kept it in the family by setting up neighbouring businesses in a a village.

Dani Hill, 26, has opened Equine Supplies Essex... in the same building as her brother’s aquatic business in Parsons Hill, Great Bromley.

She said she was “excited” about the joint family venture.

Dani said: “I’ve been riding since I was five and have owned my own horses, but I was hit by a car when I was riding in Kirby Cross last May and haven’t been able to ride since.

“It’s physical and mental – my horse was okay, but mentally scarred and wasn’t happy being ridden anymore and I hurt my back.

“I had to give it all up, but the tack shop is my way to keep in with horses.”

Dani and her brother James, 29, are now celebrating after setting up shop right next door to each other.

James and his business partner Kyle Chaplin run Marine Reef and have just moved to their new premises after a seven-month refurbishment project.

The business, which has been going for five years, was previously based in a shed in Kirby Cross.
