FREE dog chipping will be back at Dovercourt’s Friday market later this month.
Tendring Council’s dog warden will be at the High Street market on October 31 from 9.30am to 2.30pm to offer the free micro-chipping service.
Dog warden Allen East said: “We have micro-chipped more than 1,500 dogs across Tendring in the past year or so and each time it saves owners around £40.
“It will be law for all dogs to be chipped by 2016.”
The wardens will also be joined by the council’s recycling team, who will be on hand to answer any questions.
