A CRASH victim has called for the Highways Agency to “get their act together” in a bid to prevent future accidents following the fatality.
Nigel Whatling, 60, spent five days in critical care at Colchester General Hospital after crashing at the Hare Green junction in February last year.
He said: “My fear was that there was going to be a death there – when I heard about it I felt terrible.
“In my opinion the junction needs to be closed.
“Enough is enough, now there has been a fatal accident they need to do something.
“People’s patience is running out.”
