HARWICH is joining the elite crowd of business giants and even the country of Colombia by getting an exclusive seminar to help brand the town, attract big-name shops and tourists.
Ivy League professor David Shore is a world authority on branding, reputation and trust, and has worked with big names such as Disney and Marriott hotels.
On October 3, he will be hosting a half-day event in Harwich, helping business leaders learn how to unlock their own potential, as well as that of the town.
Susannah Howard, director of Enable East, who organised the seminar, entitled Gaining Competitive Advantage, said: “This is an important opportunity for local businesses in the town.
“However this is also chance for the wider community to think about how to develop the Harwich brand itself and the key to unlocking the wider potential of the town."
The seminar will be from 9.30am to 12.30pm at The Waterfront, Lower Marine Parade, Dovercourt.
Tickets for the event cost £50 and are available at julie.allport@ enableeast.org.uk or on 01206 287541.
