SCOUTS are hosting a weekend of fundraising which kicks off tonight.
All proceeds from the events at the Venture Centre on Bromley Road will be split between the First Lawford Scout Group and Urology Cancer Support Group Colchester.
Tonight between 7.30pm and 10.30pm there will be a shuffleboard tournament for teams of three people.
Entry is £3 for adults and free for children under 16 years old.
On Saturday there will be a Michael Buble act, featuring a live band and a selection of real ales. Tickets are £6 for adults and £1 for children.
The final event will be a Sunday Lunch from 11am with steak pie, seasonal vegetables and apple crumble for £9 per person.
