A HOMEOWNER says more accidents will happen on a tight village junction if footpath plans go ahead.
Michael Bartholomew, of Barrack Street, told Bradfield Parish Council’s latest meeting how he witnesses a crash at the corner of his road and Steam Mill Road on Monday night.
“A bus obviously couldn’t turn right to go down Windmill Road because of the junction so it reversed, but went up and over the bonnet of an elderly couple’s vehicle,” he said.
“Because of how the junction is it’s going to happen and if the footpath is put in the road will be narrowed and there will be more accidents."
