DEVELOPERS of a new 150 property housing estate say they are being inundated with requests for information even before project has got approval.

Outline plans for the homes at Dale Hall, Lawford, were given the go-ahead by Tendring Council’s planning committee last September.

Now for the first time potential buyers and Lawford residents can see what the homes could look like and how the estate will be laid out, after a reserved matters application was submitted by Rose Builders.

It is hoped work will start on the homes, which are set to include eight alms-style houses for young buyers and four and five bedroom homes, in 2015.

There will also be bungalows, semi-detached properties and terraces.

Steven Rose, of Rose Builders, said: “Not many days go by when we don’t get calls about the houses.

“We have had a lot of first time buyers looking at the two and three bedroom houses as there have not been many new two bed houses in the Mistley, Manningtree and Lawford area."
