SIXTH-FORM students are celebrating their A-Level results in what has been another record breaking year for success.
Students at Harwich and Dovercourt High School achieved a 100 per cent pass rate in the results which were announced yesterday.
The results are up on last year’s 98 per cent with 97 per cent of sixth form students achieving qualifications in four or more subjects.
Students who did notably well were Daniel Bedingfield, Blerina Ferati, Craig Currey, Tia Gardiner and Farhaanah Begum.
Acting Headteacher Lynne Gettings said “Many congratulations to our Year 13 students.
“Staff are very proud of our students’ achievements.
“We are delighted that half of all grades are A*/A/B equivalent.
“Subjects that performed particularly well were IT, Media and Design.
“A real cause for celebration is the fact that every student who applied for a University place has secured the course of their choice.
“I wish all our students every success in their careers."
