A DOTING sister is set to mark the tenth anniversary of her brother's death by running the London marathon.
Darren Hawkins was just 17 when he died of leukaemia.
He had been diagnosed 12 days earlier.
"It was 10 years in March that we lost him so I wanted to do something to raise money for the charity," said Emma, 25.
Emma, of Cavendish Drive, Lawford pledged to raise £1,000 for Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research to get one of the few chairty places available.
But she has already smashed her target, reaching an impressive £4,500.
Darren, who played for Lawford Lads Football Club, died just 11 days before his 18th birthday, on March 8.
