Halstead: Three men arrested on suspicion of cannabis possession

Police arrested the men after stopping their car on the A12
Three Halstead men have been arrested on suspicion of possession of cannabis with intent to supply.
The men were in a black Ford Sierra which special constables stopped during a routine patrol on the A12 at Brightwell in Suffolk last night.
A Suffolk Police spokesman said there was a strong smell of cannabis and items including 25 small bags of a green leaf substance were found.
The men - aged 19, 23 and 26 - are currently in custody at Martlesham Police Investigation Centre where they are being interviewed by officers.
