A Halstead man has been arrested in connection with pension fraud.
The 52-year-old, along with two Ipswich men aged 54 and 52, were arrested by Suffolk Police as part of a multi-agency fraud investigation.
A police spokesman said: “Last year, The Pensions Regulator received complaints about the apparent fraudulent transfer of pensions, and a joint investigation was launched by the Regulator along with Suffolk Constabulary, HM Revenue and Customs and the Financial Services Authority .
“This morning three warrants were executed at addresses in Ipswich and Essex.
“Three men have been arrested on suspicion of fraud and money laundering.”
They are currently in custody at the Martlesham Police Investigation Centre where they will be questioned.
