A pedestrian thought to be in his teens has been in collision with a car.
The incident happened in Oxford Meadow, Sible Hedingham, at around 5.15pm.
The pedestrian is not thought to have suffered life-threatening injuries.
A spokesman for the ambulance service said: "There is an emergency care practitioner on the scene.
"The incident was reported to us as being a pedestrian being in collision with a car.
"We have other resources on the way there.
"The patient is able to talk to our paramedic.
"He is probably going to need to go to hospital."
