Detectives in Suffolk believe the rightful owners of some suspected stolen property could be in Essex.

Officers from Bury St Edmunds CID seized the items in Sudbury on December 7 and are now trying to return the jewellery, coins, truncheon and other belongings to their owners.

The detectives believe the owners could live in Essex, particularly towns and villages in the north of the county.

Anyone who recognises the property and thinks it may belong to them is asked to call Bury St Edmunds CID at Suffolk Police on 101.
