A fun day has raised more than £1,000 for charity.
Organised by the family of Lilly-Mae Brewster, who was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia in January, the day was raising money for CLIC Sargeant.
The event, held to co-incide with childhood cancer awareness month, featured stalls, a bouncy castle, a raffle, nail and face painting and a majorette display.
Lilly’s mum Carrie said: “Thank you so, so much everyone for all your efforts and especially Lilly-Mae.
“After all, everything we have done throughout September has been her own ideas.
“She's been through so much - she is still so very ill herself and yet she is still thinking of others, wanting to help other poorly children and their families.
“I am one proud mummy.
“Thank you to everyone who came today and supported little Lilly-Mae.
“It meant a lot to her to see all her favourite faces and meet lots of new ones.”
It raised £1,048 for the charity, which helps those affected with childhood cancer.
The event was held on Sunday at the Acorn Children’s Centre, in Beridge Road, Halstead.
