A young girl had her day made when she was able to help two superheroes.

Liam King, 34, and Shane Cook, 26, run Super Clean Window Cleaning.

The kind-hearted duo dress as superheroes - complete with capes - to clean windows, road signs and do odd jobs for people.

They specialise in visiting houses with sick children, and want to visit children’s hospices and hospitals too to brighten the day of the children living there.

The duo visited Great Yeldham last Tuesday as a special treat for four-year-old Lilly-Mae Brewster.

The youngster, who has just started at St Andrew’s Primary School in Great Yeldham, was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia in January Lilly’s mum, Carrie, said: “They brought presents, bubbles and music.

“There was even a visit of super dog.

“Lilly has such an amazing time helping them and meeting Superman.”

Lilly and her family are currently raising money and awareness for Childhood Cancer Awareness Month which is currently running.

Their funds have been boosted by a generous donation by Daniel Robertson and Sons of £500 made through the funeral director’s charity golf day held on September 9 at Colne Valley Golf Course in Earls Colne.
