Halstead's GP surgery is being rated highly for its service by patients.

Patients at the Elizabeth Courtauld Surgery are asked whether they would recommend the service provided by the doctors at the surgery to friends and family.

For the last ten months, only once, in April, were there more people who would not recommend the service than would, with only 40 per cent happy to encourage others to go there.

The highest rate of recommending was in May, when everyone who responded to the survey said they would recommend family and friends to go there.

More than 200 people have responded to the survey since October.

Practice manager David Shedden said: “The surgery is happy with the positive feedback from patients.

“The number of responses is small and the public are encouraged to use the Friends and Family Test forms on the counter in reception or on the website.”
