Two empty units for rent in Halstead are getting a lot of interest, according to the estate agents advertising them.
Bellus Boutique, which closed in May, and S&M Greengrocers, which closed in July, are both listed by Halstead-based esate agents Oswick Ltd on property site Right Move for rent.
Estate agent Clare Richards said: “There has been quite a lot of interest in both properties.
“It is mainly people looking to open shops in the town.
“We usually get quite a lot of demand for commercial units in Halstead, for both buying and renting.
“It’s a busy place at the moment.”
Apart from these two empty units, the vacant units in the town include the lingerie store Eden, the former Thomas Cook shop and Options the opticians, all in the High Street.
