A beach hut bought in the memory of a seven-year-old who tragically died is in the running to be crowned Beach Hut of the Year.
The family of Daisy Brooks, of Bures, have raised £200,000 in a year to help fund medical advancements since their daughter died from a brain tumour last May.
Last summer, her mum Anna and dad Louis bought a beach hut in Walton, where Daisy loved to visit.
Mrs Brooks said: “We saw a new development being built and thought that it would be a really good way to remember Daisy and raise money.
“We bought a pink one and called it the Pink Hut.
“Then we bought a yellow one and called it the Daisy Hut, as yellow was her favourite colour.
“Both Daisy and here sister, Poppy, five, used to love visiting the beach and we have a lot of good memories there.”
