Caring pupils have raised £373 in aid of the Nepal Earthquake appeal.
On Friday, youngsters at Richard de Clare Community Primary School, in Parsonage Street, Halstead, all wore an item of red clothing and donated money to do so.
Red was chosen as it is the colour of the Nepalese flag.
Nepal, in South Asia, was hit by a massive earthquake on April 25.
More than 8,000 people were killed and 16,000 were injured in the worst national disaster to hit the area since 1934.
