Night-time revellers are being warned to watch their behaviour after a crack-down.

Scenarios is planning to get tougher on bad behaviour after a recent spate of incidents outside the venue, in Trinity Street, and in Halstead in general.

The most serious incident was in February when Alex Todd, 44, was placed in an induced coma after he was attacked in Butler Road.

Two men have been bailed until May 5.

More recently, a man was forced to pay £160 after smashing a table in the club in March.

However, calls to increase the number of police in Halstead have been ignored, despite residents saying they are frightened to go out.

Owner John Craig said: “Six people are currently “bobbed” under the Behave or be Banned Scheme.

“There are possibly two others who might be as well.

“This means they are banned from all the pubs and bars in Halstead."
