A kind-hearted man is cycling 664 kilometres in five days in aid of two children he knows who have luekemia.
Nic Clouting, 33, of Highfields, Great Yeldham, has only been cycling for ten months.
He had wanted to do the cycle ride anyway, but after hearing that Lilly-Mae Brewster, four, of Great Yeldham, and his cousin’s six-year-old daughter were diagnosed with cancer, he decided to “make it more about others than myself”.
The sandblaster who works at Airblast, in Gosfield, said: “This made me more determined to do this and achieve it on my own, but since meeting Lilly-Mae, I will complete this ride whatever the weather throws at me - I have even more determination and inspiration.
“Come rain or shine I shall cycle to my limits and beyond.”
