A grandmother is raising money for the charity which is supporting her disabled grandson and daughter.
Dona Mort, 54, of Halstead, is holding two events to raise money for PARC.
PARC provides respite care for children with physical and mental disabilities and allows them to play together away from intimidation.
Dona’s grandson, two-year-old Lewis Prior, of Colchester, currently uses the centre.
The family are waiting to find out what Lewis’ condition is.
Dona has arranged for a live music night at The Dog Inn, Hedingham Road, Halstead, on May 16.
Bands Exit and Anything Else will be performing from 7.30pm.
Entrance is free and there will be collection buckets for donations.
On May 17, she is also hosting a raffle at the pub.
Raffle donations are welcome - call 01787 474821 if you have anything you would like to give.
Dona added: “I would also like to thank Scenarios for donating the proceeds of Party in the Park which will take place on June 6 to PARC and Halstead Templars Rugby Club who are donating the money raised at their stall in the public garden as part of the Mayday celebrations on May 4 to the charity.”
