Tributes have been paid to an “absolutely wonderful” lady who was very fond of her village.

Jackie Hart died on February 2 aged 62.

She was born in Crouch Green, Castle Hedingham, and grew up in the village, attending Hedingham Comprehensive School - now Hedingham School and Sixth Form, in Sible Hedingham.

Her son Mark Clark, who lives in Sible Hedingham, said: “She was absolutely wonderful.

“She was so kind and caring and would do anything for anyone.

“She was always doing things for charity and she served on the parish council and was a village champion for Greenfields Housing Association.

“Jackie loved to have fun and was very fond of the village."
