A talented young musician killed in a head-on car crash helped saves after his organs were donated, his family have revealed.
Corran Powell, known as Coz, died eight days after the blue Volkswagen Polo he was driving was in collision with a Ford Fiesta in Braintree Road, Gosfield.
The 21-year-old was placed in a medically-induced coma at Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge, but his family later decided to switch his life-support machine off.
t his funeral at Bocking village hall last Friday, his family urged as many people as possible to support organ donation and transplantation.
Coz's mum Gennie, who lives in Gosfield, said: "Coz donated his liver, pancreas and a kidney, which meant people could get home for Christmas."
