A Halstead nursery has been rated good by Ofsted inspectors a year after it was ruled as inadequate.
Inspectors visited Little Pickles Nursery, based in the Whitehouse Business Park in White Ash Green, in October and rated that the leadership and management of the early years provision was good.
The contribution of the early years provision to the well-being of children and how well the early years provision meets the needs of the range of children who attend were also both rated as good.
The inspection comes after Ofsted sent the nursery a notice to improve in 2013 after inspectors ruled that children’s safety was compromised because they were exposed to thistles, an open water butt and could access adult’s garden tools.
