A popular great granddad who has been an important part of the community for more than 50 years has died.
Brian Hunwick, 85, was born in the front room of his parent’s house in Station Road, Sible Hedingham in 1929 and was among the first pupils to attend Sible Hedingham Secondary School in 1943.
His son, Alan, 58, of Castle Hedingham, said: “Brian ran the Station Road Garage for more than 50 years and always had time for people both young and old and always had plenty of stories and jokes.
“If you were ever in a muddle he was always there to help."
