The Mercury Theatre Colchester will hold its annual Christmas carol concert this year on Friday.
Each year the Mercury, in Colchester, opens its main theatre and invites the local community along to a free, hour long carol service.
The aim of the concert is to raise money for a selected charity, with last year’s concert in aid of Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research.
The concert will be a selection of readings, performances and carols performed by the cast of this year’s pantomime, Cinderella, and of course the audience gets to sing some favourite carols too.
It will take place at the Mercury Theatre at 10.30am. Admission is free, and on a first come, first served basis with no booking required.
