STUART Pearce’s fierce nature as a footballer and manager earned him the nickname Psycho.
But the Nottingham Forest boss, and former England star, showed his softer side by handing a young fan from Colne Engaine his jacket as a souvenir.
Connor Bugbee, 14, ran pitch side and called to Mr Pearce after a 2-2 draw with Watford, at Vicarage Road stadium, on Tuesday, October 21.
“It’s massive on me but I’m going to make sure no one else wears it,” Conner, a Forest season ticket holder who lives in Shellcroft, added.
“I have already thanked the club on Twitter and bragged about it on Snap Chat."
Stuart Pearce earned 78 caps as an England defender, won two league cups playing for Forest and went on to manage England under 21s and the Great Britain 2012 Olympic team.
