The mother of a Hedingham School boy who died suddenly from a brain tumour earlier this year has thanked her son’s former schoolmates and teachers for their fundraising efforts.
Arran Tosh, 13, died in June just five days after being diagnosed with a brain tumour.
The popular teenager had been unaware of his illness while he was raising money for Cancer Research UK and his friends have taken his selflessness as inspiration.
They raised £2,611 through various activities including sponsored head shaving and busking and donated it to a charitable trust set up in Arran’s name.
