A family has paid tribute to their “bubbly, caring” five-year-old who has died from a brain tumour.

Millie Brown was diagnosed with the inoperable tumour when she was just four, after complaining about headaches and struggling with her balance.

An MRI scan in April this year at Addenbrooke’s Hospital, in Cambridge, revealed that the tumour was inoperable and she was given just months to live.

Millie’s brother, Scott Brown, 29, said: “She died peacefully early on Saturday morning with her family around her.

“We knew it was going to be soon, but it was still such a shock.

“I don’t think it has quite sunk in for anyone in the family and I keep expecting to see her in the house."
