A school for pupils with speech, language and communication difficulties has been approved to open in Essex, but is yet to find a site.
Grove House School, a specialist free school for pupils aged 9-19, was approved by the Department of Education last Tuesday.
The idea for the school was proposed by a group of teachers and special needs professionals and will open to pupils in September 2015.
They went through a rigorous application process to get approval for the school.
The school is focused on language and will offer adapted and differentiated lessons, with the curriculum taught by a mixture of specialist teaching and therapeutic staff.
Details of the admissions process will be available at: grovehouseschool.co.uk
